Are you attending the World Cup?
San José, CA: As of Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, the official FIFA ticketing site shows no tickets available for most matches at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. As FIFA releases tickets, Bay Area residents are currently lucked out; there are no tickets for sale to see Qatar, or it seems that the passion to see Qatar, Algeria, Jordan, Australia, or Austria is so strong that those games have apparently sold out. The only game for sale is the second-round game at Levi’s Stadium, and plenty of tickets are available.
Some of the prices are above 2K for a first-round match ticket. What went wrong? Why so much for a first-round match? Many supporter groups have felt the pain from the high cost of tickets. There are many people around the globe continuing to point out the outrageous prices, leaving many fans priced out of attending. Are you going?

Who has purchased these tickets? Has anyone seen the ticket prices for these matches? What happened to the price gouging from the cost of tickets from Russia 2018, Qatar 2022, to now? Why are tickets so high? Is it the extra security or the cost of the program? How much is FIFA making per ticket, and how much is it profiting?
Currently, tickets seem to be selling fast, as none are being released or made available. Can it be that many Austrians, Australians, Algerians, and Qataris have purchased the majority of the tickets, or that Bay Area residents have purchased them? At the moment, we know that on the official FIFA ticketing site, these tickets are not available.
